Where to find best deal on Klipsch RF-82's? - Blu-ray Forum

Hello all, I am a soon to be Denon 3808CI owner and I am looking to purchase a new set of Klipsch speakers to go with it. Could any of you point me in the right direction to get the best pricing on the RF-82's? I have checked several stores locally (Greater Cincinnati) and have not been able to get away from MSRP. (I have also posted this on AVS, although, the Blu forums seem to be much faster in responding IMO)

I used a Best Buy 12% off coupon to get my 51s. They should let you used one on the 82s, although you might have to have them ring them up one at a time to use a coupon on each one.

I'm looking for the same speakers. found them for 899 + 99 shipping online. otherwise it's been msrp in all stores near me. no wiggle room.

btw- which center channel are you looking at?

I will be picking up the RC-62 to go with the RF-82's. Which one were you considering?

it may just be a sale this week...but that are 499 in-store Magnolia HT (Best Buy)

I just realized you were probably speaking of a them as a pair...not seperate

if you have or know anyone with a job at Best Buy or anything else with a Klipsch accommodation...they are $199.82 a piece

hell i might even drive 30 minutes to delaware BB and save the tax. put that $ towards the rc-62. every bit helps!

There is a high-end store out of Lawrence, KS called Kief's that has three different prices for all merchandise (on the left bar of their home page) and you can choose which price to pay. The prices vary with your service needs, but with speakers, especially those from reputable companies like Klipsch rarely ever need to be repaired and will often last longer than you would like because you are ready for new ones. I purchased my speakers from them (KEF iQ series) and love them. I am not sure about shipping however, as I live there and went to the store. They also specifically mention stocks. That is, A stock is the first-run, direct from the manufacturer. Here is the website...

They have all the Klipsch speakers although the website only lists one set. I almost bought some. You may need to call and get the three prices from them for the certain line you are looking for.

I called them, I can still do better locally. I talked with Ed, he said it's the shipping killing the price. He offered $900 a pair.

A local AV store near me said $895.00 for the pair. They have 'em lined up against some nice B&W and Paradigm speakers. Check your local shops.

I actually didn't think they would budge from msrp.

Also, they were willing to give me the rc-52 for $275. The BB sale is still better.

Looks like I have this weekend to decide between the Swan Diva 6.1 & RF-82's. TOUGH CHOICE!

I have gotten as low as $850 a pair for the 82's locally. I think that is as good as it's going to get around here.
