Default PS3 60GB models
I see that the PS3 60GB models are going for a lot of money on eBay, is it just because it can play PS2 games? You could buy a 40GB ps3 and a new PS2 for less then buying the 60GB PS3. Am I missing something?

if its true that ps3 40gig cant play ps2 games, then why did my ps3 40gig can without any problem? My daughter enjoy play her ps2 simpsons and star wars lego games on my ps3.

I don't think you have a 40GB, maybe you have an old 20GB?

the 40gb/80gb models play the ps2 game through emulation. just like the 360. the 20gb/60gb models can play all of the ps2 library.

wrong. the 40 cannot and will not play ps2 games. the 80 has *some* ps2 components onboard so it plays a decent amount of games. 20 and 60 have nearly 100 percent playback

so 55 is a 60 gig with 5 gig program in ps3?. I think i saw 40 in my video downlaod memory so i assumed it was 40 gig ever since! DOH!!
