Hi

I didnt know where to post this but i was wondering where can i find what firmware i have on my ps3 and if i take my internet out of my computer and plug it in2 the ps3 will it just update itself?

Yes it will it should be 2.10

Go to Settings->Systems Setting->System Info. It'll tell you your latest firmware.

and if i take my internet out of my computer and plug it in2 the ps3 will it just update itself?

PS3 won't update itself. You need to start up the process, again under settings.

If you have a home network, you can just plug it into the network to upgrade. If your DLS/Cable need password to logon, no.

You can also just download the firmware, put it in a flash drive and upgrade through that method.
