Okay so these are the 2 biggest Sci-Fi films of the year I enjoyed both films but I was wondering what everyone thinks is the better movie my vote is ....... District 9

Lol really...another Avatar/D9 thread?

I vote Avatar! I believe District 9 was a good movie, but its plot seemed way too unbalanced whereas Avatar's felt more focused.

I watched District 9 YESTERDAY
I watched Avatar again TODAY

I felt D9 had a much better plot and direction. I liked the realism it brought. Its unique, its new and it didn't have bad dialogue. Avatar was great too. It had good visuals, acting. Cameron's love is present in every scene, but it didn't resonate as much as D9 did.

I felt the same way about D9 it didn't have any big name actors and was made for under 30 Million dollars unlike Avatar that has a rumored 500 Million Dollar price tag.
