Per the film’s DP, Dariusz Wolski, on his Instagram, a 4K Blu release is coming!! He’s supervising the transfer so it should look amazing. This is one of my all time favs. Can’t wait!!

I should mention that it was Dariusz Wolski who supervised the 4K HDR master of The Crow (1994) and that one turned out great.

Great news. My money is on this being an Arrow license. Even if it's Warner directly, I don't see how the director's cut would be overlooked. Though, even a new master in 1080p would be an upgrade over the overly processed Blu-ray from almost two decades ago.

I want a Steelbook and a standard release…I want Connelly singing on the Back, I want the interior to be the green tiled bathroom, i want the front to have Rufus Tuning. Or a Black Steel with the spinning white circle with the actors names in gloss black mixed in. The disc needs the City maze…

The sample images included with the post appear to have a heavier teal grading than the BD. The DP is still working on the release of course so these may not be representative of the final transfer. Keep in mind these are scenes that are tealish already in previous releases, but to my eyes had a bit more blue to them then. I also couldn't say if this is closer to the theatrical presentation than the BD transfer was.

edit: Another member pointed out these are pictures of a monitor so that could be distorting the colors a bit too. The DP made 2 other posts showing non-teal scenes and they look great, so likely nothing to worry about here.
