I came across this video which raises some interesting points. It seems like instead of focusing on providing good disc content distribution labels are using a release to add a load of stuff as an excuse to jack up the prices. The guy in the video fully admits he is part of the problem as well but it does come across like home media collectors are being exploited. Check out the video:
I don't know if this is intentional but they're pricing the casual consumers out to make it more a niche. They know only the diehard physical media fans will be interested in useless tat. They need to focus on extras features instead of useless rubbish that comes packaged with the discs. |
