Arrow are releasing John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness on UHD in October. This'll be a dual-territory release.

Super happy that Arrow picked this up! I will say, I'm a bit sad it slipped away from Shout, it was nice to have that shelf continuity with the other Carpenter releases.

I can’t wait to hear the original 5.1 mix. The DTS was one of the more dynamic theatrical mixes I’ve heard. I always thought the Blu-rays sounded a bit restrained, but it could have just been my imagination

At the rate it's taking Shout, I wonder if Arrow will do Assault on Precinct 13. Shout has been sitting on that remaster for years now.

Amazing! Only a few more 4K releases and Carpenter filmography will be 4K complete!
Hope they also give us Assault, Big Trouble in Little China & Memoirs of an Invisible Man. Arrow for the first 2 and Shout for the last one would be nice.

I'd be very surprised if The Ward got a 4K, but hey Dark Star did! I will gladly skip those two though.

I have them all except Christine, because I feel bad about upgrading the Indicator Blu.

This is one Carpenter that just never struck a chord with me. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mindset at all the first time I watched it. It wouldn’t be the first or last time that’s happened recently with a potential rewatch.

This is still a high-level Carpenter release. I would hope that Arrow will see their way to giving this over to FiM for proper encoding work. I'd be disappointed if Arrow has landed this license instead of Shout, only to then give it an underwhelming Average House encode. The Shout blu is already based on a 4k scan. Best-in-class encoding here would help set the new uhd apart from the Shout blu ray, elevating it even further. C'mon FiM, please retweet this title!
