Default Ratatouille playback problems?

Hi! I recently became a Blu-ray convert and bought a Samsung BD-P1400. The player has the latest firmware upgrade (v. 1.2), and last night I watched Ratatouille for the first time. After about an hour into the movie, the image would briefly pause/stutter every so often, and this happened about 6 times in all. The playback was smooth if I rewound those scenes and replayed them but would occur in the same spots if I went back to the main menu and then chose the scenes again. Could this be resolved in a future firmware upgrade?
Thanks for any input you have for a newbie like me!

I think you might have a bad disk...try exchanging the disc with another one.

I just arranged a disc exchange with Disney Home Video; I got the disc as a gift, so I don't have a receipt and can't return it to the store. I watched Cars a couple of weeks ago and didn't have any playback problems, so it may indeed be the disc...thanks for the feedback, though.

Unhappy Ratatouille on Samsung's BD-P1400

Wanted to double check one last time, but does anyone who owns a Samsung BD-P1400 with the latest firmware update and has watched Ratatouille noticed any periodic pausing/stuttering of the image during the main feature? My experience is that about 7 times during the movie, the image will stutter and continue playing normally (each time at the same spots); if I rewind and watch the scenes again, the image will not stutter. The image will stutter, though, if I go back to the main menu and then watch the scenes again. I think it's a defect of my copy of the movie and have arranged a disc exchange, but I want to make sure it's not the player (the Samsung rep said the latest firmware should accommodate Ratatouille).

It might be unrelated to the firmware, but still be an issue with your player. I would clean in and make sure that there is no dust or any other obstructions.

There's no dust/debris that I can detect, and this is the first disc I've experienced that's had this problem. I rented Cars about 3 weeks ago and didn't have any problems with it (maybe one hiccup if I recall, but that was before I updated the firmware).

Default Ratatouille ghosting at 1:28:00 to 1:29 ish

Just watched the Ratatouille blu ray (UK copy) and I noticed that in the regions of 1 hour 28mins and 1 hour 30 mins one of the chefs in the kitchen has some weird ghosting effect where there appears to be a ghost version of him overlapping with him to his left. Anyone else notice this?
