There is an article I read regarding this insipid format war that I found not only interesting, but very enlightening as well. In my humble opinion, I feel it merits your attention...

The Sony Haters Club were all goosed on by a company that is far worse than Sony at trying to push their proprietary solutions.

And that these fools didn't realize they were being used, is truely sad.
