I want Warner to release Amadeus on Blu-ray.

If I remember correctly the DVD version looked like Crap.

I hope the BLU Version is better.

I love this film and on blu it would be ultra superb!!! This film is in my top 15 of all time. I can't wait. Hopefully it will be the director's cut version?

Is this movie any good? Its a film I've been meaning to see but for some reason never get around to it (it's never on tv). Its on my "movies that need to been seen at least once in order to consider myself a true movie buff" list.

If they include the video for Rock Me Amadeus I would make it a blind buy!

Except for the part about "I hope they went back and remastered the original Theatrical Cut for Blu, because Forman's Director's-Cut they hi-def mastered for the 2-disk SD years ago ruined the original."

(Salieri did not hate Mozart because of a nude scene, Milos...That's all I have to say for now.)

I wouldn't say that the director's cut RUINED the original. That's a bit extreme. I actually liked the cut because it expanded on some key scenes and gave lines whole new meanings, like when Mozart says that him having debts is a malicious line. The only thing that I missed from the original was that great "I WILL RUIN...your incarnation." I know why he cut it, so that we could actually SEE Salieri screw Mozart over instead of just him telling us that he'll screw him over (it's the old rule. Show, not tell.). But it was just the delivery of the line that F. Murray gives it is what made it so special.

If they could do a seamless branching thing with it so that you can choose between either versions, that would be great.

I've been eagerly waiting for this movie since they announced it a while ago.

Hopefully it'll be released soon.

I hope it's not done yet because if it is it's one of these WB VC1 jobs with low average bitrate to fit on 30 GB with all the supplements and lossless sound. I want a high bit rate encoding optimized for 50 GB BR.

I second that,it's one of my favorite movie of all time and i hope Warner will give it the transfer it deserve.

Great, great movie. I don't know if I will re-buy it or not. If they re-do it for Blu than I probably won't be able to resist.
