Who says you can’t do it all in one night? In the beach-party comedy The Allnighter, Molly (Susanna Hoffs, legendary lead singer of The Bangles) is a fun-loving coed whose frustration at having spent four years at a California surf-side college without a significant romance is matched only by her determination to do something about it. Aiding Molly in her last-ditch search for “Mr. Right” is a pair of sexy roomies, Val (Dedee Pfeiffer, Vamp) and Gina (Joan Cusack, In & Out), who decide to gear up for the hottest party of the year and experience the most memorable evening of all time. The fun cast also includes Michael Ontkean (TV’s Twin Peaks), Pam Grier (Jackie Brown), Meshach Taylor (TV’s Designing Women) and Todd Field (Eyes Wide Shut).

Pure eye candy the movie sucked.

I'm a huge Bangles fan too and would probably buy this at the right price.

I own the soundtrack album still sealed and bought used! I may have the DVD somewhere too.

yup, Susanna Hoffs = Gorgeous, but man for an 80s Comedy/Romance movie this is super boring.

I LOVE Susanna Hoffs. Saw this opening night when it came out back in the '80s, and it was borderline wretched. Couldn't believe how bad it was. Of course, I have it pre-ordered

I love me some Susanna Hoffs, but I've never been interested in seeing this. That commentary track sure sounds tempting though. If this is the right price, I might buy it as a goof.

Love it. I saw her at The Largo a couple times....good shows and she's very funny.

If I could give this picture 10 thumbs up I would. She was gorgeous back in the '80s and has somehow increased her gorgeousness the older she gets. She's going to be the hottest 80 year old in history.

Billie Joe Armstrong (from Green Day) did a cover of Manic Monday with Susanna Hoffs last April, and she's jumping around like a person half her age.

As the top comment in the YT video says: "Reminder that Susanna Hoffs is 62 years old and still the hottest woman on the planet."

On the DVD Commentary with the Director, Tamar Simon Hoffs (Susanna's mother), when it gets to the scene above, it's too funny with the banter between mother and daughter.

I thought this was fun, plenty of eye candy and great music. Pairs well with Modern Girls just not as good. Kino Blu-ray offers pretty decent PQ. I’ve only listened briefly to the commentary track with Susanna Hoffs and her mother but from what i heard it was engaging.
