Digital Bits posted this info, but what really irks me is CBS/Paramount "remastering" from the original 35mm camera negatives......yet putting this on DVD??? Seriously, if this was shot on film, shouldn't it at least make it to Blu-ray?

They must release this on blu-ray or it will be a complete waste of time. Who still buys DVDs?

Hopefully, they will get the restored episodes out on HD streaming, then announce a blu-ray release.

How much more expensive would it be to produce a bluray edition of this? It might be prohibitively expensive.

It will probably show up in HD on Paramount+. They did the same with Gunsmoke.

I wish they'd restore Wanted: Dead or Alive with Steve McQueen. That is by far the best western show from this era IMO.

50% less discs on blu ray.
I agree that all the remastering and restoring is a waste if only on SD.
Drives me crazy knowing those remastered HD files are just sitting there.

Pulled the trigger on the DVD's when Amazon dropped it to $144. I'd pay retail day 1 for an HD Blu-Ray set!

I would like to get the seasons that have all the “The Lost Episodes” of Bonanza, can anyone list and tell me which seasons have these to purchase?

No DVD release exists that exclusively contains *just* the "lost episodes" of *Bonanza*. The term "lost episodes" refers to approximately 171 episodes from seasons 6 through 14 (out of the total 431 episodes) that were not included in the initial syndication packages after the show’s cancellation in 1973, making them less commonly aired until networks like INSP and the Family Channel began broadcasting them in the 1980s and 1990s.
