If I were Universal, I’d be looking at moving the Exorcist movie up a week. Opening weekend showings of this are fully sold out at my AMC and Cinemark.

There is still a literal queue to buy tickets on AMC and Fandango.

AMC: We're going to need a bigger theater.

(or at least play it in more auditoriums, I think they underestimated this.)

As someone who isn’t the biggest fan of hers, I went to this show with my wife and was BLOWN AWAY by it. Incredible show and experience. Should be a great concert film.

Seems inevitable the streamers will get in a bidding war over this concert film.

So Taylor Swift is the reason Fandango is only showing me Equalizer showtimes for AMC for the next week? After waiting for the countdown on the AMC app to end, that's all I'm seeing on there too. They've temporarily turned off A-List too.

AMC Theaters is listed as the distributor. So every ticket they sell - they keep 100% of the proceeds. Now - I am sure they have a deal with Swift and Director Sam Wrench to cut them in on each ticket sold.

Yup. According to the Variety article, it has all the IMAX and Dolby Cinema screens for the 4 weekends it’s playing aka up until the weekend before The Marvels releases.

not a huge fan of TS(lover is the only album i have) but i will watch this on streaming - im surprised its been released so quick and when you consider people like Madonna and Gaga (who are better performers) take years to put out concerts she's clearley got a good marketing and production team around her - cant wait to see that swim pool jump ...

Yep. In the Regal app it's $19.89 for a standard showing and $22.89 for RPX.

so it's kicking out Killers of the Flower Moon for any premium screens at AMC, this sucks

ha i'm sure my brother 2 daughters will see this since they are big fans and already seen era concert down in nashville meh

this stinks i can't go ahead get a ticket to see jp 3d 1:30 nor can't used my 5 dollars rewards i only can get tickets equalizer 3 i sooo wanted to go movies before get paid tomorrow if this don't get resolve by 1 i am have to wait go do this tomorrow
