Leone has hinted at what we can expect in the 4th (and possibly last) Terrifier film:

For horror diehards able to make it through the whole bloody affair of “Terrifier 3,” there is a cliffhanger that will segue immediately into a fourth film, which Leone has confirmed is in development. While he won’t reveal too many details, he uses his signature enthusiasm to tease the next chapter.

“It will certainly be an epic showdown, an epic closure to this Art the Clown saga,” he says. “The idea I’m toying with in my head would probably be in some regards the most experimental, so I can’t dive into it too much. Some really, really crazy things will happen in the next one.”

I like the angle the Terrifier 3 story took in regards to what makes Art the Evil Clown tick, and it very much confirms his supernatural abilities to heal beyond what any normal human could.

The end of 3 was great but felt a bit unfinished, but maybe part 4 will fill in a big blank part 3 didn't address at all. SPOILER!

[Show spoiler] Art leaving offscreen without even bothering to confront the vulnerable and weaponless Sienna who just lost her relative Gabby in a pit of Hell in the floor.

I just saw an interview with the director who basically hinted part 4 will end the story. He said he might be open to doing more later on in the future, but he doesn’t want to drag this on like other franchises.

Sienna Shaw and Art the Clown’s Rivalry Will Come to an End

Filmmaker Damien Leone wants to make two things explicitly clear: he knows the ending of the Terrifier series, and he’s also open to the plan changing. In Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3, Sienna Shaw goes from someone primed to be the traditional final girl to someone with an explicitly supernatural destiny, complete with a magical sword, to defeat Art the Clown. Terrifier 3 pulls back the curtain in a big way on the supernatural aspect of Art, deepening the rivalry between the two. Leone revealed the following about how Sienna and Art the Clown’s intense rivalry will end while still remaining cautious as to being too definitive…

Damien Leone: “I know where the endzone is. I know what the end goal is for these characters and where Sienna and Art the Clown’s finale happens. It’s just a matter of finding out how many movies will it take me to get there. I don’t like setting myself in stone, saying it will be two movies or one, because you honestly never know. I mean, I could have a nightmare tonight where it changes everything, and I’m like, ‘Nope, there it is. That’s the right direction. We’re going to go that way.’ So, until it’s locked and on the screen, you never know.”

One thing is absolutely certain about this series.

Art the Clown is an immortal demon, who can regenerate. He'll be back after this series ends with Sienna's character. Maybe 5 years after, 10 years, etc. This character is like one of the major horror villains now.

Give the character a break for a good decade. The demand then will be even more so. We can't miss him if he's not gone.
