PIONEER BDR 202 , dont buy !!!!!

hello

dont buy this blu ray burner

in europe it cost 450€ or 670 $

but i have problem with BD 50 GB AND 25 GB LG

LOOK THE REPONSE OF PIONEER :

have raised your question with our Engineering Section in Japan and I am
waiting on their response
to confirm when they will be adding LG's BD-R/RE media as a 'supported
media' by our BDR-202 drive.

Please understand, it is in Pioneer's interest to add newly-released media
to our firmware as soon as
possible so that any new media can be supported by our products.

Alas, the BDR-202 is not able to support writing to any Dual Layer 50GB
discs, so it will not be possible
to add Sony's or any other manufacturer's Dual Layer BD media to the
BDR-202's firmware.

I will inform you of the response from our Engineering Section....
