HT set up - polk RM 6880 PANBD 30 ONKYO 805

Hi,

I am thinking to buy the panny DMP BD 30 and have onkyo TX SR 805 to do the work for the audio.I am planning to get the polk audio RM 6880(5.1) speaker system for the output audio.Is this set up recommendable? or do I have any other best alternative?

I am wondering what kind of speaker wires and subwoofer cables should I get to get all the juice out of this set up? - I am considering a 14 gauge METRA wire which I was looking in amazon. I know a HDMI V1.3 should do it(monster??? or amazon has a sony HDMI 1.3 for 47 bucks.is that gonna do all the work for both video and the high resolution audio?).they do have some Y subwoofer cables which can connect the mono subwoofer out from the receiver to the stereo subwoofer input to the subwoofer.Other than this Any body knows where I can get the speaker wires and subwoofer cables.Should I check out Amazon? or any retail store? Any idea?I am a newbie So please help.
