Audio trouble with PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

I have a PS3 hooked up with Optical cable for sound and HDMI for picture - My receiver decodes the games audio just fine - whether it be Dolby Digital or DTS it plays and displays on my receiver.
But - when I play a BR movie, it only displays Pro Logic no matter what the disc has in the way of the audio track. I have checked it and in the setup everything seems done right, but my receiver will not play anything but Pro Logic for the blu-ray movies -

Any Ideas?

What kind of reciever do you have?

settings - bd/dvd settings - Audio Output Format Digital (Optical) - Bitstream

(something to that effect...cant remember it off the top)
