Default Bluetooth Laptops with PS3?

I'm about to get a new laptop with bluetooth and have a couple of questions.

1. Can use the keyboard on a bluetooth laptop on the PS3?
2. In that same vien, if the laptop has a bluetooth mouse, could you use both as your controller on any of the FPS games?

My son just kills me with I use the PS3 controller, but I can hang with him on the computer games using a mouse and keyboard.

Assuming that the keyboard is part of the laptop, then no. The mouse however would probably be able to be used since it is external from the laptop and would therefore have bluetooth built into it. Since the keyboard is part of the laptop it would not be considered a bluetooth keyboard. There are bluetooth keyboards and mice available seperately or as combo packs and they should theoretically work with a ps3 though i have never tried as such.

1. No.
2. A seperate bluetooth mouse may connect but only Unreal Tournament III supports keyboard and mouse control.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the web browser has keyboard and mouse support too.

any bluetooth device that is supported by the PS3 (i.e. keyboard, mouse, headset) will run on the PS3 via Bluetooth. But not through a computer, and not attached to a computer. You can also use any USB device that it supports as well (including the camera but I have tried 3rd party and older model cameras, they do not work, it must be the new PS3 camera).
I use a keyboard and mouse all the time on my PS3. it is a little awkward with the mouse as the buttons don't act the same, but it works. I just wish they let us download things from the browser to our PS3 (like images and movie files and music).
