Default Buying oldschool DVDs

Well I have a Bluray player and most of my new DVD acquisitions have been in this format, but there are some boxed sets I am interested in and I am unsure if I should scoop them up on ebay. Does anyone know if these titles are going to be released in Bluray?

Tales from The Crypt - All Seasons
Stargate SG-1 - All Seasons
X-Files - All Seasons

Any insight would be great

I made the mistake of selling my Xfiles collection. From what I have heard, the masters are not a good source for HD.

SG1 Would probably be the most likely and first out of that batch.

Lol they'll be a time.. studios will output everything in HD, not caring for the end product.. (like most do for DVD right now) so i'am pretty sure stuff that aren't hD will be sold as is.

look at the pathetic tv offerings on blu (or hd) right now for all that you need to know about these series' futures on blu.

The only non-last year season of a tv shows that I'm aware of are Star Trek: TOS s1 on hd and Weeds s1 on blu.

Its going to be awhile before the back catalog of shows gets put out there, unfortunately.
