Default Denon 2808 slight problem

I have a new Denon 2808 which is a great improvement over my 2805 apart from one small glitch. Occasionally the music on a DVD menu (not bluray) will sound extremely distorted. This clears once the film starts or if I switch source on the amp. I phoned the shop I purchased the amp from and they said it could be due to static and advised performing a factory reset. I have and the problem still occurs. I have only ever had this problem on DVDs nothing else. Its not a major issue but just wondered if anyone else had a similar problem with a Denon or other amp?

i have had zero issues with my 3808. ive never even heard of anything like that happening before. is it just on one dvd or have you tried multiple dvds resulting in the same outcome?

Its on random DVD's and it might only do it once with the same DVD for example I have watched Transformers 3 times and once on the menu I had the distorted problem. If I leave the distortion going it carries through the cycle of the menu once the menu music starts again its fine or like I said if I switch source and back its clears it very odd. This is my third or forth Denon and have never had a problem like this

I have not had that happen with my 2807 or my 3808. Is it with a separate dvd player or are you playing dvd's in a bd player? If separate I would try connecting to a different input to see if it goes away.

It is with my Arcam DVD player connected by coax. I have yet to try connecting the player optically but as I said its not a major problem and the fault never occurs in a film only on dvd menu's its very strange?
