Denon 889 or 2808???? - Blu-ray Forum

What are the main differences??

Can get the 889 for $600.00 and the 2808 for $689.... should i just go for the 2808 or are there really not much different?? HEEELP

spend the extra money and get the 3808 if you can it has more hdmi imputs.. I had the 2808 and returned it for the 3808 just for that reason..

what do you use the hdmi ports for... all i have is the PS3 how much more is the 3808??

The 889 and 2309 are like machines as I understand it. The 2809 is a bit more and has a nicer face with a hinged control center rather than the cheap plastic thingy that the 889/2309 have. The 3808 adds HDFM (I think) and ethernet connectivity (I know). The ehternet connectivity can be made with a Denon iPod dock that is ethernet ready for about $200 or so.
