Thumbs up Would you like Transformers as a traditional CGI?

Ok, big question here. I ask for this reason. Yes, I admit I am old enough to recall the original TV airings of one of the greatest cartoons ever. But in the 1980's CGI was still EXTREMELY expensive but showed its face from time to time.

I can recall seeing Hasbro toy commercials for Transformers with very brief CGI clips of Optimus Prime. He looked very cool and I wished they had an entire movie like that.

Transformers Beast Wars did show them once or twice and that was great. But the cartoon itself was nortoriously PC BS.

Keep in mind, any new CGI TV cartoon would be 16x9 with scripts akin to any other TV-14 rated show.

I think I am speaking for many when I say I am extremely satisfied with the movie. I can't wait for the sequel. Live Action can be hit or miss. This was a big Hit.

I would prefer it be accurate to the original before anything else

Nope, I liked the movie just fine.

And if I'm in the mood for the old cartoon, I'll go back and watch the old cartoon.

when I first heard that Transformers was coming to the big screen, I was kind of hoping for CGI (I too watched the originals). However, I did like the movie alot. So my vote is for both.
