Default Monster bad for PS3?
When I was talking to Sony today troubleshooting my defective PS3 they said that Monster Cables hurts the PS3 and actually causes damage to the device. The lady I was talking to almost made it seem like they were not going to swap out my PS3 if I was still using my Monster Cable but I reassured her I was using a different one (monoprice) and then she agreed to exchange my PS3. Has anyone else heard of this or was someone pulling a prank on her? I don't see how a cable could physically cause damage to a device, especially when it is made with "premium" materials.
