Things that make you go "WTF"

So I went to Subway today for lunch, got up to the counter and they asked me if I wanted the value meal. I said, no, but I'll take a small drink. The person says, "We only have medium and large." Feeling jaunty, and a little bit perturbed that she couldn't just give me the smallest one they had, I said "Wouldn't the medium be a small then?" Apparently the person didn't get that I was kidding around with them and they said, "No . . . it's a medium." I left it at that, since the person seemed to be getting snippy over it. But seriously . . . how can you have a medium with nothing on either side? A lot of places have started doing this. People get paid a lot of money to market these things that are totally stupid.
