The Rewind Foums has a review up for Magnolia's The War Within Blu-ray Disc

Shot in Digital HD 1.78, DTS, DD 5.1

Not exactly a stellar review there. I'm a little disappointed as I just ordered this disc and it just despatched from Amazon. He says it is just slightly better looking than the DVD release - what's the deal with that? Anyhow, I'll judge it with my own eyes.

Well could be some people are expecting everything to be just like a pixel perfect CGI render. So that could be part of it. I havent watched U2 yet, but i rember the trailer in the theater, so I'd expect the Bu-ray to look like was shot in a blizzard storm. A grain blizzard storm.

The review said War was shot on digital HD, I'd expect that to look similar to any other HD shoots in a basic image quality sense. Maybe if he had said it was sot on Digital DV!..
