Amazon Pre Order Price Guarantee...

I have a question about this. I ordered I Am Legend last week when it was $24.95. Now it is showing as $18.95. When it comes out will I only be charged $18.95? Or do I need to redo the order to get that price?

You can contact customer service and ask them to adjust the price or simply cancel your previous order and and reorder, I prefer the latter.

It's supposed to readjust automatically the day after a price drop. It's worked for me with National Treasure and DVE. But if it doesn't do that for you (as a lot of members have said with IAL) just follow post #2.

it will automatically price adjust, I pre-ordered National Treasure at $23.95 and I just checked it yesterday and it was in my order status for $19.99

Another thing, if you pre-order the Goldbox Discount ($23.70) and you saw a lower price ($18.95) then you get the lowest price gurantee ($17.70)! Please don't cancel your Goldbox Discount, cuz the promo are hidden, only you can see your promo. Amazon won't know if you have GB Discount applied or not, but you still get the lowest price gurantee!

i had same problem as it was first ordered at gold box price. ans this was the reply i recieved from amazon so i canceled and reordered.

I just looked at mine it was at 24.95 now im at 18.95. So it did it on its own.Did not have to cancel and Re order.

The only problem with doing this is that you get shoved to the back of the line. After doing this myself a few times and getting 3-4 weeks tagged onto the shipping date (actual shipping date, not their projected) I decided that e-mailing them was worth it. I prefer to keep my original pre-order shipping seniority in tact.

The gold box price gets pro-rated... My original Gold Box discount was $1.25 (Based upon $24.95); it was dropped to $ .95 (Based upon $18.95).

No big deal, we're talking $ .35.

I just noticed that the Water Horse is in my preoder list now at $16.99. I can really live with that. Is it just me or does that little creature look like the character from the short lived show Surface?

I also noticed that Beneath Still water was down to $8.95 now it is $13.95, interesting.
