Wink Guy/Girl flick(s)

I am a guy who plans on having the usual assortment of guy flicks.

But, what if, a female just happens to come over and I want to show of the blu-ray, what is a good movie that both male and female can enjoy that hikights the blu-ray effects?

Ocean's 11-13 are good guy/girl movies, but I hear the the translation to blu-ray isn't all that spectacular.

Any suggestions to have handy in my library...just in case?

Well it really kind of depends what kind of movies said girl is into... though comedies are usually your safest bet.

Maybe try Enchanted... excellent movie.

I'll cast my vote for Troy. You still get to watch action, and she can enjoy Brad Pitt half naked in HD (I don't know many women who'd say no to that). PQ is maybe 4.5 out of 5 overall, but the oceanic scenes are stellar.

My wife, shockingly, loved No Country for Old Men. She did not like Enchanted or August Rush. She thorughly enjoyed Superbad and The 40 Year Old Virgin. Devil Wears Prada she thought was okay.

My wife loved Superbad. But we recently rented Chicago, which she now loves, and isn't really that bad a movie, even if you don't like musicals.

Like most musicals, Chicago was WAY better live.

Wow you guys are way off, Apocalypto is one I know many girls like as well. It was actualy girls at my school that reccomended it to me. Also in the rare case that they haven't seen it, one of the Pirates of the Carribean.

Just in case those don't work, I Robot. Any kind of adventure is a good bet.

Lightbulb Just remember one rule ...

If you want to find a guy/girl flick, don't look in the girl/girl section.

just cover all bases, and ask her what she wants to watch. some girls are only into chick flicks, and some can't stand them. it's a crapshoot, kinda like women in general.

a good movie is a good movie. Doesn't matter what sex you are. That's my opinion anyway.
