Default So I was in Cosco today!

and a SONY BRAVIA was right next to a SHARP AQUOS.( not sure which models though ) and the t.v.'s must have been calibrated nicely because the colors were'nt over saturated and the blacks were good. Anyways the Sony looked so good it was not even funny. I have had a 42 " SHARP AQUOS for about 7 months now and I do love it. But there was no denying that the Sony was superior. I was kicking myself in the ass for choosing the Sharp. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with Sony. Anyways if anyone is debating between the two, coming from someone with a SHARP. Get the Sony!

Yeah, I was at my Costco recently and they no longer had any blu rays. In the past they had quite a bit of blu rays, but this was right before I bought my PS3.

In the Carlsbad California Costco they had a wide selection of Blurays including the latest releases of I-Robot, Independence Day, Dan in Real Life, Hitman and quite a few others.
They also have the Sony S301 for $372 and a they are discontinuing the Panasonic that was selling for I think it was either $449 or $499. Perhaps they will replace with a later model.
Hope this helps.

Im betting the OP didnt look in the right section.

The blu rays are by the DVD's, and all costcos received huge shipments of them, and will start stocking them again.

My costco had all new releases, and even some older ones, Dinosaur, Blade Runner, etc.

I work at a Costco here in Texas and basically when we put out a display, all we do is open the box, take it out, and plug it in, trust me, its not professionally calibrated at all, it would be nice it we could do it, but probably not going to happen.
