Default When Life Imitates Art

Here's a fun challenge. Can you think of an actor whose real life actions mirrored a role they played in a movie?

Here's one I discovered today:

Jeffery Jones

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm4292909824/nm0000470

He starred as the creepy school principal in Ferris Buller's Day Off. In one scene, Jones is sneaking in the bushes at Ferris house desperate to catch him faking a sicky day.

In reality, Jones was arrested in 2002 for possession of child pornography and employing a 14-year-old boy to pose for pornographic photographs. Kinda fits the character of the movie. SHudder.

Robert Downey Jr. in "Less Than Zero" vs. Robert Downey Jr. the actor during that time period.

Not a lot of difference.

I like to think Shadow of the Vampire is based on truth and Max Schreck really acted like that.

Danny Trejo (any movie)

Nic Cage (he acts the exact same in every movie so that must be how he is in real life. Clearly the man is a genious (nuclear physicists, master puzzle solver, etc) with a great sense of humor. Also an excellent fighter and marksman). He is the worlds most intersting man.

What, no Mickey Rourke? There's a reason he was so good in The Wrestler.

The cast and crew (mostly Francis Ford Coppola with a dash of Hopper, Brando, and Sheen) of Apocalypse Now by mirroring the very source material for the movie they were shooting (Heart of Darkness). They inadvertently proved Joseph Conrad's hypothesis valid.
