Problems with "BLACK BOOK" - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone had any problems with the movie BLACK BOOK? After the latest firmware upgrade, with a disc from Samsung, this movie stll freezes and refuses to play any further, after playing the first 7 chapters. The same thing happened before the firmware upgrade. Movie was very good. Wish I could have finished it. The disc came from Netflix and appeared to look just fine to my eyes.

this is just an opinion but Netflix might have sent you a bad disc

Next month I will order another copy and see if it does the same thing.
Like I said, it was a very good movie and I would like to finish it.

they could probably send you a better copy if you send the one you have now or you could just call them

My Black Book disc plays all the way through without freezing. I'm running the most current firmware (v3.50) on my Sony BDP-S500.

My disk from Netflix won't play at all - doesn't even start. I have the latest firmware update (v1.6). Disk looks fine. I probably got YOUR disk!
