Software update for PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

this sounds strange but i can not find my wireless controller for the playstation anywhere and i was wondering if there is anyway of finishing the update without it. I use my harmony 880 remote.

i plugged in the harmony remote to the ps3 using the usb cord and this was after i downloaded the update in which i would just have to push the ps button to install. so i plugged it in then removed it and i guess by the removal it recognized that as the ps button. i dont know how the hell i did it, i just did.
