Cool, I'd be interested in this so I can get back to using one remote again.
And yup, sold out. Besides power on/off (over the $13 Nyko version), it is supposed to have improved response time, uses USB instead of controller port 1 (I think), and transmits all 51 Sony Blu-ray remote control codes including things like subtitles, eject, and so on. HOLD IT!!!
The only reason to buy that $55 box is if your PS3 is housed in a different room and you needed Bluetooth for wall pass through. If you have direct line of sight to your PS3 save yourself a lot of dough by getting the NYKO Blu-Wave Remote instead. Remote signals for PS3 do not need to be converted to Blu-tooth in order to work. Walmart.com sells the Blu Wave Remote for $17.43! The package contains both the remote and the I/R USB receiver which much smaller and cheaper than the other one. It's about the size of a small USB thumb drive. Here it is: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=7790592 I've been using my Logitech Harmony 880 remote with it now for several months, and it performs flawlessly. Harmony's software has space for the PS3, so it loads up all the command buttons on the LCD screen (X, O, triangle, square, etc.) and has place for all the Sony BD remote commands. You simply take that setup, and then have the Harmony remote learn the corresponding commands off the NYKO remote, and you're set. I only needed to give a quick adjustment to the command repeater settings, but overall I was up and running in about 15 minutes. Unless you need to send the signal as Bluetooth and not I/R, or really need to have power on/off from your remote, I'd recommend the NYKO solution instead. Use the money saved to add another Blu-ray disc to your collection. |

for the price of either of these, deal with 1 more controller and just buy the ps bluetooth controller. its 20$, retarded to go buy an eyesore of an adapter when you can have no line of sight and lay down and watch a bluray.
