Red face Calibrate & mounting

Ok i have a 40 inch lcd...and a 52 inch lcd. 1080p...both look amazing

Well i thought about it lately...and the guy at best buy kept trying real hard when i first got this tv to get me to calibrate it...for like 100 dollars i think...
Well he said i can get it done anytime tho....

My screen looks good now...Is it a must to calibrate tho??

And is it nicer to mount a tv?? any upsides to mounting or not...

Just curious..I guess bored also...lol...Any info i appreciate alot thanks

I had BB calibrate my Sony SXRD and IMO it was worth it.

Also, I have my Samsung LCD tv mounted to the wall. I bought a mount at BB and hung it myself. It took about an hour. Once again, worth it IMO.

Hope that helped.

All TV's are set to look best on a showroom floor, not in your home. Manufacturers do this so that they catch your attention in the store, although they will look very good when you get them home, a calibration can only make it look better. It not only enhances the picture quality, but uses less energy, gives off less heat, makes your TV last and more reliable. It doesnt void the warranty either.

Check Monoprice.com for T.V. mounts.... $35 or so compared to $200 or whatever they are at BB
