Default Onkyo SR 705 Vs 805?

On Cnet the only difference they list is the Zones being more on the 805 is this the only thing that is true? Or are they completly different and is the 805 all that better?

Yea i did so what is the real difference all i see is Select2 Thx and ultra2 and some of the numbers are different. what would yo ugo with? I see you have the 705 lol.

i never had a yamaha but my reasons for not going with that model is

no true hd and dts ma decoding
only 6 channel input not 7
only 2 hdmi inputs
didnt see any digital output
and i MUST have a phono input

Umm isnt it 7.1 Channel and it does have DTS HD And True HD. Crackiheinz reccommended that to me. And what about the speakers and what is didgital ooutpout i dont need it right?

are you sure he wasnt talking about pcm support?

the specs also said 6.1 analog input. yes it ouputs 7.1

IDK what do you mean i have a PS3 and idk if he was talking about that but thats what he said. What do youmean by the input of 6.1 and outpout of 7.1?

Where would I find some good (and reasonable priced) speakers to go with either the 705 or 805 ?
Thinking about upgrading, still got an old 5.1 (like 6 years old now) without HDMI and such...
