Bluray Quality?

Folks, apologies if this is actually covered in another thread - I did a few searches for 'quality' and so forth, but nothing turned up.

I've just ordered Enchanted for my wife (Bluray version obviously) from Play.com. Previous buyers had left several comments and one that I read was complaining about the quality of the Bluray version, in so much that it was very poor, whilst others generally agreed that the quality was pretty good.

Might this be down to the player that was being used? I use a PS3 60Gb and so far anything I play in it is pretty amazing.

Just looking for some expert opinions regarding the quality of Bluray movies - are all generally very good; are some very poor etc.. etc.. etc..
