I have a PS3 and an Onkyo 605 recevier. I have an optical cable for audio. I have a few questions: Should I set the audio output to linear PCM or Bitstream? Should Dolby Digital and DTS be selected? and on the rear speakers should they be hooked to back L R or just left and right. I have heard mixed opinions. I only have a 5.1 set of speakers. I had the rears hooked to back and the receiver set to Bitstream but I was hearing no rear sound on DVD's or blu rays. I switched to linear PCM and can hear the rears but they are still plugged into the back ports. Is this correct? I am confused, any help would be appreciated.
