So, I have my Blu-Ray player hooked up by HDMI to my Samsung 50" 1080p plasma. But when I play a Blu-Ray movie, the TV's display function states that the signal resolution is 1080i. Why is that? Since the player, disc and TV are all 1080p, why doesn't it say 1080p?
