Question Should i go to 24bit?

At the moment i have the capabilities to listen to blu-ray's at 48Khz/16-bit. I've noticed that most of the disks i have are at 48Khz/24-bit.

Is it worth going that extra step up? My ears are not exactly the best in the world (courtesy of BOC in 1985 ) so I'd like people's opinions on the move up (or if in fact I'm going to notice any difference at all!)

Cheers
