Klipsch Speakers on Sale?

I started building my set up one step at a time and was wondering if Klipsch speakers ever go on sale? Or what kind of deals has there been in the past for these speakers? (See my sig for the models I am looking for)

BestBuy currently has a no payment/no interest financing for 3 years on all home theatre items, which is a great financing deal but unfortunelty there is a 1 month wait on most of the speakers I wanted.

I bought my Reference 7 series at a local store that offered them at internet pricing. I got them for a steal. I contacted Klipsch and asked them, where in my area there were authorized dealers and I started shopping around. You have almost the exact same setup as me.

Samsung 71 DLP
PS3 60gb
Denon 3808CI
RF-7 complete Series, the 2400 watt sub shakes the walls.

You will love this setup.

I got a couple of good deals from www.jr.com . Company is based out of new york and have good deals from time to time . Good luck in your search !

Yeah, bestbuy occasionally has them for 10 percent off, but sometimes you do see a 20%. Plus you can sign up for the rewards zone and get a couple of triple points coupons. There is also the 30 day price adjustment incase they go more on sale.

I got 50% off on a set of 5 Klipsch speakers. They were the Quintet III Home Theater Package.

I ended up getting them on a President's Day sale for $300 and they sound awesome. I would've spent $600 easily on those speakers if they weren't on sale, and would've been glad to pay it too.

Edit: I got them at a local electronics store (now expanding) called Ultimate Electronics.

Most of your local a/v dealers will try and match financing options, so continue to shop around and audition.

A specialty hifi store, which Best Buy is not, is worth building a rapport with. No doubt you're not looking to buy the last system you'll ever have. My local hifi dealer has no problem letting me take a speaker home for an evening to see how it integrates with my current system.

Just remember not to buy any cables from Best Buy - use www.monoprice.com and don't get ripped off. The cable game is rampant in every store.

On occasion Klipsch will do promotions... not very often.
Be careful with Best Buy Klipsch is no longer selling the Refrence Serirs to them. It may be a longer wait than you think.
The internet is fine just be sure you have warranty coverage from Klipsch before buying.

I loved Ultimate Electronics, but they closed the store in Rochester(where I'm from). That's where I used to shop as they have much better equipment than any of the BBs in my area(Madison, WI). We don't have any Magnolia stores down here. BTW, I also have the Quintet III and am quite happy with it as well.

If the information I got from the Klipsch Sales Rep is wrong im sorry...
But I did NOT say they didnt have Klipsch nor did I say they didn't have
Reference Series Klipsch.
I said that Klipsch is no longer SELLING the Reference Series to BestBuy
Im sure that there are stores with stock...

I would buy from a authorized dealer also. Not sure I would buy them from best buy either, just my opinion.

You can find some deals now & then , Like my local shops I was ther today .. always below MSR..

I got my Klipsch RB-51 MSR wa $330 PR / I payed $275 PR -fronts
RS-10 MSR was $300 PR / I payed $150 PR -SURR
RC-10 MSR was $220 / I payed $180- center
RSW-10 MSR was $499 / I payed $330 - Sub

Also went to the shop to day looking to upgrade my RS-10 SURR to the RS-42 MSR on them were $450.00 a pair , He said $400.00 for the PR and would of gave me $110 trade for my RS-10's But I listened to them and really both agreed not really much of a differenc my my size room ,( evev though I liked them better ) I might do it still thinking.. But I di find a pair of klipsch Cornwalls I wanted , they were sold ,guy picking up later ,these were mint looking ,used .I asked what he sold them for ( SIT DOWN ) $900.00 for the pair .man i would of loved to have them ..Also he had a pair of Cherywood Klipsch 2.5 for $250.00 . not bad ,i use to have 5 of these in my old system for HomeTheater ..they rocked but a little big....so bottom line keep looking...LOL

LOL do you know where MT hope is . behind Strong MM Hospital just up from Herettia Mall is I use to go to ROWES Audio Video & they had Klipsch there also ..& how about the House of Gutairs Bought a lot of EQ when i was in High school and we had a band & DJ setup ,,really cool up there..& lets not forget Ward MM for conserts saw the Doobie Brothers & Foghat up there ,,those were the days ..LOL..

i got mine at my local A/V store and they cut a varying 10-20% off my setup. looking back i probably could have haggled a little and got that price even lower. i would say look locally and see what they can "do for you" on the price.

I went on Klipsch.com and found a few local stores that carry them, hopefully I will have some time this weekend to go check them out!
