Default Comics and BD Movies: Good Bed Fellows!

Where would us BD fans and the movie industry be without comics? Lately, it seems that 40% of the movies being released are either from a comic book series or from a graphic novel. Not to mention the obvious such as Superman, Batman, X-Men and so forth, but V for Vendetta, Sin City and 30 Days of Night are truley amazing.

So the question is: What Comic book series or Graphic Novel would you like to see come to the big screen and BD someday?

It'd be pretty neat to see 'The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite TPB', but I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

The What If? series from Marvel done like Sin City where it's a bunch of short stories. Don't think it would fly too well except with die hard marvel fans.

From what I understand, Preacher is coming to HBO as a series. If it's done right (otherwise, why bother), that would look amazing when it hits Blu.

I know it's not a comic, but I would love to see a Shadowrun movie. Perfect blend of magic and sci fi.

Alan Moore....From Hell....I know its beem done before BUT it could have been alot better.
Hollywood need to stick to the comic books when they make a movie because the books already have a fan following just don't screw with it.

There was alittle series back in the late 90's called Powers....that would make a good movie.

Don't forget the CROW.. As much as I love the movie, the original graphic Novel still can't be beat.

Frank Millers 'The Dark Knight returns' Eventually would be amazing...Batman against the world including Superman?? fughetaboudit......

Of course the Watchmen has been a long time coming. I am so stoked for that movie I can't even explain it in words. I especially can't wait to see Malin Akerman as the Silk Spectre II

But there is another comic that is really intriguing that I think would make for a very interesting R-rated movie. The Boys.

The Watchmen asks the question, "Who watches the Watchmen?" Who watches and keeps the supes in check sometimes violently if necessary? The Boys comic book series answers that question.
