Default Fox Adds D-Box to 'Jumper' Blu-ray

Quote:
As previously reported, Fox has set a June 10 street date for the Hayden Christensen teleportation thriller (day-and-date with the standard DVD), and unveiled a complete line-up of specs with hours of extras.

D-Box combines real-life motion control of your home theater seating in sync with the on-screen action, and Fox will now enhance the 'Jumper' Blu-ray to deliver plenty of rumble during the film's famed teleportation and other action scenes.

That's simply a correction of an omission, virtually every Fox title has D-Box on it

I hope that Jumper is similar to Hitman in terms of action which I have already watched thrice.

Jumper is virtually nothing like Hitman. Aside from some very inventive teleporting fights.

Yeah, to make any connection is ill-advised. Hitman was at least decent. I never noticed until now but Hayden Christensen is not a very good actor, the story is kind of weak, the only good thing about it is that it is short. That being said and the fact that it is a Blu-ray, I will be picking this up.

The 8 people who have D-box should be thrilled with this news.

He's OK, but it took you till now to form that opinion? Most people felt that way in Episode 2 and never looked back

You should read the book, it's much better and different (no paladins, no Griffen for example)

The movie was made with the cooperation of the author though, who altered his own creation for the film,so that one's OK by me

Yeah, same here. I'll rent it first, then decide if I want to buy.

I thought he was pretty bad in SW Episodes II & III. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've ever said "he's not bad" after seeing any film he's in...

OF course my wife loves the guy...

It immerses you into the action and even improves on the bass-shaker effects offered by the likes of Buttkicker.

It may not be for everybody but if you like those motion simulator rides at theme parks this is similar.
