a little off topic (about the movie)

Watch the alternate ending... i think it was a much better ending cause it adds more emotion and closure to the story... i don't know who decided to cut it, but it was a poor decision. I think that if they would have left it in for the theatrical release it would have got better reviews.

I gotta really agree with this. I loved this movie, but watching the alternate endiing really pushed this film up another level. I can't beleive that they cut that part from the movie. Sure it slows things down a little after a massive climax, but it really elevates the entire story to an even more personal level. I didn't feel it detracted anything from the pacing and should have been left intact.

I thought it was much better than people have been saying but I wasn't all that fond of the ending. Guess I'll check out the alternate ending (as someone suggested earlier in the thread). Oh, and no, I didn't guess it.

She also didn't in Deep Impact, Eyes Wide Shut, Jungle 2 Jungle, Uprising, Never Been Kissed, or Joan Of Arc.

So she really doesn't "turn" any more than other actors in a wide variety of roles.

Yeah, she made Al Pacino look really small (or made her look huge -- guess it depends on how you look at it).

Watched the alternate ending and thought it was a little better wrap-up.

Watched this last night.....it was horrendous drivel. Jon Avnet directed this and Pacino's latest movie, which was also terrible. I'm wondering what sort of blackmail he's got on Pacino for him to keep signing up for crap.

Was the red-head from Urban Legend and Two Weeks Notice trying to play "unbelievable"? Was that intentional or just how awful she really is?
