coooool, we finally get some holliday music channels, glad to see Potus on our lineup too, Not sure why there are two fox news stations, or two 90s hit stations,

one of those surley could of ben used to make acdc or led zep a perminant channel, and dont like that they made Hot Jamz the heat, but i can live with that, wondering when we well get a dedicated MLB network aswell.

Lots of changes for XM subscribers to put up with. There were many good channels removed as well as the radio personalities with them. Kind of a shame really. The xmfan forums are alive with many very unhappy subscribers. I was sad to see Fred, Ethel, the Boneyard, and Audiovisions (among a few others) get the boot.

Any other XM subscribers here unhappy?

I cancelled because of the merger and could only get xm and not sirius and thought both should be available with a slight increase in fees but because the different in satellites and unless a home theater receiver has both tuners it cant be done.

It also had to do with the talk channels being so similar in political programming being day and night there was just republican and democrat viewpoints and nothing at all that was really independent except for rolley james and the power hour which the show has left sat radio and xm was beginning to be such redundancy with all the elephant and jackass chat it could bee a zoo!

I'm pretty indifferent to the merger. As Sirius subscriber, I don't see what more I get with XM coming on board? I got Sirius for the music, NFL and Stern.

I got sirius for basically 3 or 4 music channels, the NFL, and primarily Stern.

What would a person pay on a monthly basis for XM or Sirius here in Canada and is it really worth it?

I just wanted to add that the music channels were of course wonderful being that there is the decades channels for oldies fans and high standards for big band era recordings of artists and contemporary ones as well and with every other type of music catalog or channel to aquire to just about anyone's taste,of course there was a bit of sound compression going on that may have diminished the music abit.

However, there was no hobbiest talk channels such as organic gardening/home theater show/alternative or holistic complamentary health care programs or lawn grooming or scaping shows in a natural but not synthetic/chemical approach .

There also was the point that many of the talk show hosts were also being broadcast local or nationwide on am anyways.

There is one program on sirius radio that could be fun for horror fans and that is the fangoria show.

I got it primarily for Stern but I love a lot of the music stations. As a Sirius subscriber, I don't see any reason to get the best of XM.

I'm personally livid over the music changes. I sent them an angry email regarding the changes. Dance music got shafted.
