Default Has Shooter been RE-Released Yet?

I called my local bestbuy and circuit city and they both told me it would be released on 5/27. Does anybody know where else i can get it now?

It's been out for a long time.

I've had my copy since last year.

It was Re-released a few days ago.

Walmart will have it on sale next weekend for $15.

Whats all the fuss over Shooter anyways? Is it just because it was yanked at one time and made it a rare to find movie? Cause It couldn't be because that many people actually think the movie was great. I saw it at the theater and it was a fun okay time out. Makes for a good rental. I could never see it again and be fine.

Easy answer. Some people like the movie and they want to buy it so they can watch it when ever they want to.

Also I work at Wal-Mart and I'm getting sick of jerks taking pot shots at the employees on the board. I'm sorry I don't have a better job but that doesn't make me some idiot moron some of you people make us out to be.If you want to bash the service you get from someone single out the person instead of making wide accusations at the expense of others. Not all Wal-Mart workers are bright and intelligent, but many are normal everyday movie lovers like yourself who know where to enter and exit a building. So lighten up and stop being such pricks all the time.

I get that, which is fine. Personally I wouldn't buy it but would watch it again if it was given to me. I guess my question was more of a curiosity as to if the movie is so loved because of its content or because it was so hard to get at one time.

This movie never seemed to have the following it has now when it was in the theater. There is nothing about it that screams cult film. So I'm trying to understand where this strong love for Shooter comes from.

Wal-Mart and Target are the places to look for the Paramount re-releases.

I just picked shooter up, 19.98 at walmart. Personally i really liked the movie. It has nothing to do with it being a hard to find title, but rather one of marky marks better films. If you havent seen it you should check it out.

I have to interject a topic from last year which was regarding the high prices of BDs.

Already we are seeing prices come down to DVD prices on certain titles. And blu-ray is still a few years away from becoming the mainstreme format for movie viewing. Its fun to watch the whole industry and HD format evolve over time!

OMG! Am I a geek or what?
