I had my AF1 and Reebok Classics phase back in my days as an urban youth - still have an entire section in my closet devoted to some of my collection. But alas, I do not spend money on them anymore. Let me see if I can find a pic of the shoe section of my closet...

My favorite shoes for the past three or four years have been Air Force Ones. I was just asking my wife yesterday as a matter of fact if I'm getting too old to be wearing them. I don't buy the crazy colors or get the ones with Gucci and D&G crap, I just have the all black ones. I dress pretty low-key - solid, typically earth tones, jeans, and my AF1's. I like their simple look, and they're very comfortable.

I don't think I could be considered a sneaker head. I have a few friends that have crazy numbers of shoes. buy limited editions, wear them once or not at all, and put them on display or box em up and put them in their closet.

Im perhaps a shoe enthusiast? I have around 22 pairs not including my pair of docs, my pair of skechers and my pair of 'nice' leather looking Diesel sneakers that I can wear with either nice slacks or banged up jeans.

But I don't have any in boxes that I don't wear on a regular basis. Vans, Chucks, Adidas, Fallen, Etnies, DC, Vision, Adio, and Osiris. Mostly skater brands.

I used to wear Docs pretty much exclusively for about five years. Once my second pair wore out I bought a third, only to find out (after they got pretty scuffed up in about a week) that they were no longer made in England, but in China, and were nowhere near the quality they used to be. When I bought them I noticed the leather was noticeably more supple, which obviously came at the cost of durability. I haven't bought a pair since, which disappoints me as I LOVED them. As stupid as it sounds, it upset me quite a bit as I had become quite attached to Docs
