Trials of Topoq is far and away the best of the downloadable PS3 Eye games (I have all but Tori-Emaki).
Aquatopia is a glorified screensaver. If you have/had a saltwater aquarium screensaver for your PC, it's the same thing except in 1080p on your TV and some mild reactions from the fish when you wave something in front of your camera. Mesmerize is like a camera-based doodling tool. Amusing for about 10 minutes, and not much beyond that. Tori-Emaki looked a lot like Mesmerize, which is why I didn't buy it. Operation Creature Feature is kinda neat. Not as slick or pretty as Trials of Topoq. It plays a bit like Lemmings but with camera-based motion control. Trials of Topoq, as mentioned, is pretty cool. It's a platform puzzler similar to Marble Madness, but instead of using an analog stick or other control, you use motion in front of the camera to "deform" the playing field underneath a ball and push it around to get to the goal. |

i thought aquatopia was only 720 ? Aquatopia is nice if you have a psp. you can remote play , run aquatopia and than do the camera test check so it's like a "security camera" . pretty nifty.
mesmerize is fun but only for so long but still fun especially for the price tag |

Aquatopia is an exercise in oddity and irony.
The fish are not 'salt water' fish, but rather a combination of saltwater, freshwater and brackish fishes. Yet, they all survive in harmony in digital water. The plants are the same way as they are also from completely incompatible environments in nature as well... As are the rocks. In fact, everything in it is a bizarre mix. It sucks. ![]() |

None of the PS2 eyetoy games work with the playstation eye... Just so you know. It sucks, cause i wanted to re-play eyetoy: antigrav, but couldnt.
![]() Oh well... By the way, Good catch on the fish. ![]() ![]() |

![]() Anyway, I only have Aquatopia and Operation Creature Feature. So I dont think I can really suggest a good one. And like the post above mine said, you cannot use the PS Eye for Eye Toy games. You have to connect an Eye Toy to the PS3 for that to work. If you have a PS3 that can play PS2 games. |

These are all PSN games. Why don't you try Eye of Judgment. If you like trading card games, you'll enjoy this. You'll see the creatures come to life.

Looks like Japan's getting a PLAYSTATION Eye pack with all the released PSN software on a Blu-ray Disc.

Cool, I bought Aquatopia and ToT the day I got my PS3, I bought the EoJ pack before my Ps3 came in. Ordered it from Sony with $100 off card, but bought EoJ in a B&M store. I have had much better looking Aquarium screen savers for the PC. The fish don't move right, and the camera doesn't do much. EoJ is great, but it's kind of a pain to set up. I don't have a table in the living room big enough for the play mat. (We don't have a coffee table) So I use a tray table but the matt hangs over the sides. At night when trying to use the camera to enter a new deck I've had a hard time getting it to recognise every card without moving lamps. Then I have a cord across the living room, that people have to jump over, and it makes the camera unstable. With the proper room with another person who gets it, it would be a really fun game!!! Anyway I've spent more hours playing GTA IV in 3 weeks than I have playing EoJ in 6 months! |
