Default no AVP at BB?

I went to 2 different BB's in my area and neither of them are carrying Alien vs Predator and said that there was nothing saying that they even will anytime soon. Its available online, but not in my local stores. Anyone else having this problem? I'm in New York by the way.

Yes, my local BB never gets any new releases. I also have BB online and it says it's available so I have it at the top of my "Q".

I ran to BestBuy before school today and it seemed that they had all of today's releases except for AvP and Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I was pretty miffed.

Same thing happened to me here in Philly. Fortunately, I went to Circuit City and they had all the new releases including AVP and Hitchhikers.

I would suggest Fry's Electronics and/or MovieStop, if you have them. They have great prices and have most titles. I picked up 10 out of the 13 available (including AVP, Black Rain, Saw II ($19.99) & III).

The place I'm at don't even carry Blu-Ray titles at all in Circuit City. BB sucks too. Walmart carries more Blu-Ray titles than BB where I live, LOL.

No Avs P at CC here....and they only had 2 of the new releases for the week.
I went to Wally World for Saw 3.....and finally broke down and ordered Avs P at Amazon...along with pre- orders for The Departed, The Prestige and several others.

BB and CC have rediculous pricing....and along with driving all over to different stores to try and find titles....I am fed up.

I signed up for 2 day delivery for every title from Amazon....and its still 5-10.00 cheaper per BD before factoring in the wasted time and gas scrounging all over looking for new titles.

Amazon sucks! They make offers like 10% off for the next year and then when it comes time to collect alot of people are having problems. They will not get my money. Don't forget local stores will price match and you have your movie that day.

I found AVP a week early at my local Circuit City. Picked up Saw III at Best Buy for $24.99 as advertised on Best Buys website even though they have it for $29.99 in the store. Cashier didn't even ask to see proof. It seems if you find one of the younger people working at the registers price matches are pretty hard to come by.

Locally...they will only price match local stores who have the exact title in stock from my experience.....and this is assuming they stock the title in stores to begin with.

Around the time Pearl Harbor was released was when I first started noticing that some new titles were sold out by noon on tuesdays at Wally World....and that their not stocking all the new releases at BB anymore.

www.deepdiscountdvd.com is the way to go for a lot of Blu-ray.

I've grown tired of going to the 2 Best Buys in my area only to never find something new or something they have listed on sale (infamous buy 1 get 1 offer).

Another good option is Barnes & Noble if you have a membership. Find something they have on sale, then use your 10% discount, plus an additional 15% discount you get about every other week.

I go to Newbury Comics for most if not all of my blu-rays they always have the new releases in stock at a cheaper price than bestbuy or circuit city.(they also have used blu-rays from $10-$15)If they dont have something I am looking for I use deepdiscount DVD.com

I found AVP at my local Future Shop. It wasn't with the rest of the titles but in the new releases shelf. There have been times at Best Buy that I couldn't find what I was after only to find it on a new release shelf after asking if they had it .
