Band Of Brothers - Audio? - Blu-ray Forum

Last night i was dragged down to my local multiplex to watch Sex & The City and noticed that the movie though a HBO production was actually made by New Line. So it is safe to assume that when it inevitably hits Blu-ray the audio will be dts HDMA 7.1.As you all know BOB was also a HBO production (and BBC) so is it possible that the audio for the upcoming Blu-ray will also be dts HDMA 7.1? Any comments rumours etc??

New Line did the theatrical distribution, HBO runs their own show. Whether or not New Line will continue using DTS is up in the air since they are no longer doing their authoring independant of WB.

HBO typically follows WB, so TrueHD is most likely

The Sopranos had PCM on Blu-ray and vanilla Dolby Digital on HD-DVD. Until Band of Brothers shows up, we won't really know what the audio will offer.
