I really NEED Band of Brothers on Bluray right now! Any one hear anything about it? Thats making me think of some other titles i NEED!

Love the list my friend. The only word on Band of Brothers is that HBO stated that they plan to bring it to blu. I would love to see Band of Brothers, Fight Club, and Snatch this year. If that happened i would be happy. Thedigitalbits stated taht heat is coming, but they have to go and do an hd master for it, so it may make it this year.

If HBO brings BOB on Blu-ray, I want them to include English captions as the dvd version does not include them

i had to stop and take a look at this thread, cuz I thought you said you need the Bang Brothers on Blu. I thought you were interested in seeing every pube in every crevase in hi-def blu-ness.

The SDVD looks really good upscaled on the PS3. This could be one sharp Blu if they do a decent job with it. I'm sure they will and hopefully soon.

I am sure that band of brothers will be HBO will be the next release on blu. I would hope that they have been working on this transfer since their last release. I an very excited about this release and I'm sure this will be reference quality both PQ and SQ wise. I see this as a summer release (fathers day promotion) of definately a holiday shopping season release mark my words!

If you like the Band Of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan, you'll like Saints And Soldiers. It has that same look and feel.
