Unofficially, I'm told second or third quarter of this year, less than two grand MSRP, probably in the mid thousands for the cheapest one, which will probably the 3807.

^^ None of that is gospel or in concrete.

Default Is this a blu ray player?

Or just for regular DVDs? I can't read the frontplate details from the picture.

This is a receiver. To my knowledge, Denon hasn't committed to making and Blu-Ray players...yet.

A reciever?! What's in the middle of the top unit and nearer the top of the unit. It appears to be a disc drawer slot to me ( at least I see what looks like an indentation that looks like a rectangle disc door between the two uppermost "knobs")

Have a look at the enlarged picture behind the unit, I think it's just their fluro / LED display.

Ah, I couldn't tell that they were the same unit (although I could tell they looked similar). Yes, the background image makes it much clearer.

This is the bigger (and newer) brother of my 3806, which also has probably a flipfront like mine. This hides all the buttons on the unit.

oh my... that looks awesome. I'll maybe consider that one. Depending on the price of course. Do you know if its a 7.1?

Hey guys, that is their supposed upcoming high end pre-amp with oodles of goodies for custom installers (and XLR balanced outputs too), and below is their 10 channel amplifier. I doubt either one will cost less than $5,000 each.

Right now they're using an older receiver chassis for the prototype shown in the picture.
